Vilafranca del Bonany celebrating its Festes de la Beata coinciding with the bicentennial of the Constitution of the municipality, which until 1813 had been part of the of the municipal area of Petra. Therefore, the theme of these festivities is 200 Anys de municipi, 24 km2 in festes (200 Years of town, 24 km2 celebrating).
In this context is also framed the photographic exhibition which opens on July 24 in the exhibition hall of Sa Nostra, entitled Vilafranca, imatges d'avui i d'air (Vilafranca, images of today and yesterday).
Over ten days, from 18 to 28 July, there will be activities like la ruta de la tapa Tapa’t, the day of home i Natura, concerts and recitals of music, fire shows, lectures, competitions, theater children, etc..
Also there will be the traditional output of the demon in parades with cabezudos and la colla de xeremiers (Friday 26) and the dance of the Cavallets (Saturday 27).
