The second Sunday of May, all kind of leisure and cultural activities are taken place in Sóller, to prepare the spirit of its inhabitants for the following day, to celebrate the festival of Moors and Christians, commemorating the victory of the sollerics, over the Turkish pirates on May 11, 1561.
During the afternoon, the battles among the Christian and the Saracens are staged in the beach of en Repic, the Barona Bridge and the field of s’Oca.
