Abigail Sardon (soprano), Miquel Angel Aguiló (baroque cello) and Guillermo Femenías (archilaúd and baroque guitar) offer a repertoire of baroque music of Italian and Spanish composers. The concert is part of the cycle Musica Antiga organized by the City Council of Palma and is held from September to November.
The program consists of: Toccata del Sr. Arcangelo, of the libro di Leuto di Giuseppe Antonio Doni (XVII century); Che si può fare, by Barbara Strozzi (1619-1677); La Bianca Fiore, of Cesare Negri (published in 1602); Begl'occhi, bel seno, of B. Strozzi; Pavanas por la D, with partidas al aire español by Gaspar Sanz (1640-1710); L'Amante Bugiardo and Giusta Negtiva, by B. Strozzi; Sonata for solo cello, con il basso continuo from Domenico Gabrielli (1659-1690); Folías, by Gaspar Sanz; Ojos pues me desdeñáis, by José Marín (1619-1699); Canarios, of Gaspar Sanz; Tortolilla si no es por, by José Marín; La esfachata de Napoles, of Gaspar Sanz; No sé yo cómo es, of José Marín; and Sonata sesta, by Giovanni Benedetto Platti (1697-1763).
