Alternative festival San Kanut

On the eve of the patron saints day of Palma different city squares are filled with musical performances in honor of San Sebastian, at a party hosted by the City Coucil. In parallel an alternative festival called San Kanut is organized which this year celebrates its sixteenth edition.

Its scenario is Ses Voltes and on the 19th and on stage will be a number of groups and soloists performing for free. The line- up will be: Los Hermanos Brothers (folk), The Monster One (glam and rock), Rootskatality, reggae band that brings together different members from around the world from different generations, Valtonyc, a rapper committed to the Catalan language and Impresentables with their classic rock and the priceless covers of the group Leño.

The performances do not end here. Joining the unofficial San Sebastián night: Drivers Moonlight, El Niño Alcalino & The Chusquers, Demonios de sa Factoria des Fosar and the  sessions of 16hzKollective.
