Although not the patron saint of the village, the feast of St. Augustine is lived with great enthusiasm in Felanitx, where at this time some of the most popular festivals of Mallorca take place. They are celebrated from August 20 to 29, with a variety of activities for all ages and tastes.
On Friday, August 20, after the reading of the proclamation by Guillem Mas Fiol, will be celebrated the Nitxdelart a night of art in which various exhibitions will be inaugurated and with music in the streets.
Another proposal is the VII Fira Nocturna de Sant Agusti + Gastronomia de carrer, with stalls of food trucks of different types of food. It is celebrated on Friday 27, with the traditional parade of cavallets, cabezudos and demons.
In addition, the musical offer is very extensive, with concerts and shows by: Anegats (Friday 20), Johnny Burning and La Frontera (Saturday 21), Agustín El Casta (Sunday 22), Sara Reus and Mikel Erentxun (Monday 23), Discovers and Pol Granch (Tuesday 24), Madò Pereta and Los Javaloyas (Wednesday 25), Mala Rodríguez (Thursday 26) and the musical Vaiana (Saturday 28).
