Although not the patron saint of the village, the feast of St. Augustine is celebrated with great enthusiasm in Felanitx, where at this time some of the most popular festivals of Mallorca take place. The program lasts about a month, with a variety of activities for all ages and tastes.
On Friday 19, after the reading of the proclamation by the artist Andreu Maimó, will be celebrated the Nitxdelart a night of art in which various exhibitions will be inaugurated and with music in the streets. Another proposal is the V Fira Nocturna de Sant Agusti + Gastronomia de carrer, with stalls of food trucks of different types of food.
The eve of the saint's day (August 28) is celebrated with the traditional parade of cavallets, cabezudos and demons.
