We knew Jerez-born cantaor Fernando Soto through his first cousin Pitingo, his artistic godfather, who always invited him to open for his concerts. In 2013 he published his album Bamboneando, with ten songs by maestro Miguel Vargas Jiménez (Utrera, 1940-1999), a great singer known artistically as Bambino. The album contains rumbas, sevillanas and flamenco songs with collaborations by other artists, including Pitingo.
Fernando Soto now brings this show to the Flamenco Festival held at the Auditori de Peguera with the special collaboration of the Mallorcan singer Nati Carrillo. In his repertoire we find echoes of Bambino, Lola Flores and Manolo Caracol.
