Fernando Marina directs this fifth concert of the 2012-2013 season of the Balearic Symphony Orchestra 'Ciutat de Palma'. He performs accompanied by the Coral Universitat de les Illes Balears, under the direction of Joan Company, and the young Majorcan soprano Maia Planas.
The program includes the Song of destiny for chorus and orchestra op. 54, by Johannes Brahms, and Symphony no. 4 for soprano and orchestra by Gustav Mahler.
