Documentary project directed by Miquel Brunet and in it participate nineteen musicians from Mallorca. It is a tribute to the album Bitches Brew (1970), in which Miles Davis first used electric instruments and opened the way for what has been called jazz rock.
Ferments. El mapa sensitiu d’una illa Ferments (Ferments. The sensitive map of an island) is the story of three days of introspective confinement in a recording studio looking for a connection between new generations of jazz musicians and the most ancient aspects of Mallorca. Without scores or established guidelines, musicians, dancers, chefs and winemakers interact in search of new forms of expression. Presentation by Miquel Estelrich. After the screening there will be a debate.
