Through texts, photographs and drawings by the cartoonist Rafel Vaquer, this exhibition entitled Bartomeu Rosselló- Pòrcel, les ales trencades. La curta vida d’un poeta encara viu (Bartomeu Rosselló-Pòrcel, broken wings. The short life of a poet still alive) can be seen in the Ramon Llull University Library of the Balearic Islands.
This exhibition is part of the activities that are being developed this year to mark the centenary of the birth of Mallorcan poet Bartomeu Rosselló-Pòrcel (Palma, 1913 - El Brull, Osona, 1938).
His book Imitació del foc (1928) represents the culmination of his poetic career. Precisely, the theatrical production based on this collection was released in September this year at the Casa Museu Llorenç Villalonga in Binissalem, and has since been shown in different spaces.
