The Minorcan military and intellectual Joan Seguí i Rodríguez (Maó, 1847-1891) is the author of this work which is now being presented at the theater Sa Societat in a new edition.
In Excursión histórica por Calvià (Historical Excursión histórica por Calvià) he analyzes the warlike events that took place in Calvià with the landing of the Jaume I expedition in 1229. This new edition includes the preliminary study by Agustí Aguiló Llofriu, and belongs to the Valldargent municipal collection.
