Canadian trio formed by Jonas Bonnetta (singer, guitarist and composer), Jon Hynes (drums and percussion) and Sylvie Smith, whose impressive voice gives the band a touch of urban sophistication.
Evening Hymns is a spiritual band emerged from the remote depths of the ancient forests of Ontario. For Jonas Bonnetta, the composer of their songs, the true temples are not churches but mountains, trees and wild lakes in northern Canada.
The group acted for the first time in Mallorca in 2010 and was great a success, they now return with a new album: Spectral Dusk (2012, Kütu Folk). In it Bonnetta exorcises the death of his father with a large palette of feelings. We are presented with the best songs the band has ever interpreted, like
Cabin In The Burn, an inner dialogue with the lost parent, Asleep In The Pews, an ethereal song between wakefulness and sleep, or Family Tree, in which Bonnetta speaks with extreme hardness of his own family.
Completing this proposal of Teatre de Lloseta, Toni Monserrat, with his band Inc, formed by Simó Vall (BB No Thirst) on guitar, Felip Sanchez (The Deep South) on bass, Jaume Roig, on drums and Jaume Amengual (Sterlin , Misty Mountain) on keyboards. Pure American rock sound.
