Angel Gil-Ordonez directs the Orchestra Simfónica in this sixth concert of the cycle Estius Simfonics at the Castell de Bellver. As a soloist will perform Dominican Latin jazz pianist Michel Camilo , one of the leading interpreters of Latin jazz, who took part in Fernando Trueba's documentary Calle 54 and winner of numerous Grammy Awards, Latin Grammy and Emmy.
The program consists of two works of G. Gershwin's Cuban Overture and Rhapsody in Blue, and Candide, overture, and Symphonic Dances West Side Story by L. Bernstein.
