The last title of the Special Cinema Cycle Goya Awards programmed by the Auditori d'Alcúdia is As bestas, a Spanish film of 2022 directed by Rodrigo Sorogoyen. He got 17 nominations at the Goya 2023 Awards, including best film and best address.
Antoine and Olga are a French couple who settled in a village in the interior of Galicia. There they lead a quiet life, although their coexistence with the locals is not as idyllic as they would like. A conflict with their neighbors, the Anta brothers, will make the tension grow until it reaches a point of no return.
