Es Gremi Fest

Three Mallorcan groups (Son and The Holy Ghosts, Oso Leone and LA) form the lineup of this summer festival organized by Es Gremi and held at the Parc de N'Hereveta Porreres. There will also be performances by Mr. Anderson, dj 'jesus christ and Nin Petit.

Son and The Holy Ghosts is a Majorcan band created in 2009 to enthuses with their folk rock with American roots. They produce works of alternative country, good old rock & roll, with songs that make you travel to beautiful places, and the lyrics have a big emotional charge. They propose everyday stories with musical and instrumental seriousness.

It is a group that grows performing live: they were chosen as outstanding group of the month in the tour of Artistas en ruta (artists en route) in June 2011 by Mondo Sonoro, and garnered great success at the Festival Monkey Week 2012. Is formed by Joan Grimalt (guitars), Guillem Mesquida (guitar and vocals), Xesc Carbonell (guitar), Josep Verdera (drums), Dani Pi (bass) and Jordi Vidal (keyboard). Present their latest work The Soldier & Lady Fire.

Paco Marín and Xavier Colombas (guitars, vocals and percussion) began as a duo and two years ago  Jaime Rossello 'Ruspell' (piano, synthesizers and programming)joined the project, which gave the final empetus to Oso Leone. In February 2011 they released their  debut album with the same title, and in 2013 their second album, Monkragora.

Finally L.A., one of the best bands of American rock this side of the Atlantic. Their leader and composer is Lluis Albert Segura, who previously had been part of groups like Los Valendas or The Nash. Along with him, Pep Mulet (guitar), Angel Cubero (bass) and Dimas Frias (drums)

Their latest album is Dualize (2013), recorded in the studio of Richard Swift, the National Freedom, located in a small town in Oregon (USA). Interestingly, here the film Stand by Me  by Stephen King was shot, one of the films that most inspired the leader of L.A.
