Directed by Barry Sargent, Ensemble Tramuntana is a classical orchestra with strings and winds. In the Claustre de Sant Domingo de Pollença it offers a program consisting of Symphony KV 201 of W. A. Mozart, Symphony 'La casa del diavolo' by Luigi Boccherini and the Symphony 'Farewell' of Joseph Haydn.
The latter work is famous for its surprise ending, where one by one the musicians turn off the lights leaving the stage as a protest to Prince Esterhazy.
The concert is part of Nits Classiques de Tramuntana, a festival of support for the popular initiative Save the Tramuntana.
