The Espai Sonor ensemble kicks off the season with a concert for brass quintet with piano and the world premiere of Lo seco y lo mojado (Lo dry and wet), by composer Iker Güemes. The concert is held at the Municipal Conservatory of Manacor and is part of the Tardor Poètica program organized by the City Council.
Espai Sonor is an ensemble dedicated to contemporary music and is made up of Pere Sansó (flutes), Bruno Lucas (oboe), Rafel Caldentey (clarinets), Tomás Alonso (saxophone) and Tomeu Moll-Mas (piano).
In addition to the premiere of Lo seco y lo mojado by Iker Güemes (1971), the program includes works by Klaus Huber (1924-2017), Brian Ferneyhough (1943), Nil Moliner (1992) and Jörg Widman (1973).
