The cycle Concerts a S'Esglesieta 2018 opens with this formation that includes four musicians from different backgrounds: the Swiss Lorenz Hasler (violin) and Sabine Hasler (violin), the Cuban Amparo del Riego (cello) and the Argentine Víctor Pellegrini (guitar), artistic director of the cycle.
They premiere the work 3 Dances for Guitar and Ensamble, which the Swiss composer John G. Mortimer has written for the occasion.
The program also includes works by Albéniz, Villalobos, Haydn, Ponce and Castelnuovo Tedesco.
The concerts are held in the Esglesieta de Muro, a building that since the fifteenth century has been Seu de la Universitat, Casa de l'Almoina and is currently a religious temple.
