Enero (January) is a documentary by Ione Atenea premiered at the Gijón International Film Festival in 2019. The protagonists are María Jesús and Manuela, the two grandmothers of the Navarran filmmaker. With them we share daily tasks and daily rituals.
An intimate portrait of old age through the stories of two women old enough to have survived their own lives.
