Curated by Magdalena Aguiló and produced by Finis Africae, this exhibition marks a new stage in the Museu de Mallorca, which establishes a dialogue between its funds and the contemporary work to open it to new audiences.
The exhibition brings together a selection of 40 works by the artist Horacio Sapere, corresponding to different periods under the theme of the mountain, and a selection of 11 historical works from the collection of the Museu de Mallorca related to mountain landscape and several works from other collections of landscapers in Majorca at the beginning of the 20th century such as Bernareggi, O'Neill, Fuster Bonnin, Anckerman, Fuster Valiente, Femenía Maura or López Naguil.
It also includes a small piece in memory of the recently disappeared painter of Eivissa Carloandrés.
