'Els altres', by Jean-Claude Grumberg

Estudi Zero Teatre presents this adaptation of the work of the French playwright, screenwriter and writer Jean-Claude Grumberg (Paris, 1939). Els altres, a sharp, sometimes bitter comedy, is the portrait of a social reality where intolerance, xenophobia and racism are shown as symptoms of our sick societies.

Grumberg – his father and his grandparents, of Jewish origin, were arrested in front of his eyes in Paris in 1942, later deported and never returned – transports us to his world with irony and intelligence, taking advantage of the theater of the absurd.

With dramaturgy and direction by Pere M. Mestre, Els altres is performed by Pepa Ramon, Dominic Hull, Lourdes Erroz, Laura Dalmau, Pere Mestre and Jaume Sastre. Catalan language.
