The Spanish pianist and composer Eleuterio Domínguez Acevedo is the protagonist in this concert of the Deià International Music Festival, which this year reaches its 41st edition.
Thanks to the scholarships of Hazen, Yamaha and Juventudes Musicales de Madrid, Domínguez Acevedo completed his training at the Sweelinck Conservatorium in Amsterdam with Maestro Jan Wijn, graduating with Distinction in 1995. His interpretations have captivated the audience of important Halls and Festivals of Europe and America, has collaborated as a soloist with leading orchestras and recorded numerous times for radio and television.
In this concert he plays piano works by Chopin, Gershwin (Rhapsody in Blue) and Liszt / Wagner.
The International Festival of Music of Deià, with artistic direction by Alfredo Oyágüez Montero, is held from May 9 to September 19 with concerts in the Music Room of the Casa Museu de Son Marroig, one of the former properties of the Archduke Luis Salvador in the Serra de Tramuntana. From its terraces you can contemplate a spectacular sunset over the sea.
