Elena Conde, BA in Geography and History specializing in the History of Art, gives this special course that is part of the training offer for adults in the Obra Social Sa Nostra in the 2015-2016 course. It will be held from October 15 to December 17 at the Cultural Centre Sa Nostra and the deadline for registration is September 28 to October 9.
The course offers an insight into different aspects of Egyptian society that are especially interesting, as the role that women played being concubines, farmers or queens; the animals that were considered special as the ibis, the snake or cat; preventive medicine; the importance of personal hygiene ... This course is immersed in the records of archaeological materials and textual sources for insight into how those people of the banks of the Nile lived and loved.
