Marc Artigau and Oriol Broggi adapt this version of the Greek tragedy of Sophocles Oedipus Rex, version in Catalan by Jeroni Rubió Rodon. A production of the Teatre Romea and Focus premiered in Barcelona in April 2018, which is now presented at the Auditori de Manacor.
Julio Manrique gives life to Èdip, king of Thebes next to his wife Jocasta, the widow of the dead king Lai. With the city hit by numerous evils, the town asks for help to its king and he promises to them revenge.
Along with Julio Manrique, the rest of the cast is formed by Carles Martínez, Marc Rius, Ramon Vila, Miquel Gelabert and Clara de Ramon.
