It is the new monologue of Colombian Edwin Alcides Garcia - director, actor and creator of Teatro Frastricida, premiered last August at the Teatro Matacandelas of Medellin.
It is based on the most famous poem by Allan Poe, The Raven, in dialogue with an essay written by the author in 1846 titled Philosophy of the composition. In it, Poe explains the process of creating The Raven to illustrate his theory about a method to learn how to write well.
Edgar Allan Poe o el método de la descomposición is presented within the program of the III S'Illo Can Timoner, independent festival of performing arts.
