Dúo Arcadia

Second event of the XLI Encontre Internacional de Compositors with Duo Arcadia, who presents their concert Paisajes. This guitar duo, absolutely eclectic in their repertoire, is made up of Pilar Rius Fortea and Avelina Vidal Seara. Its official presentation was in 2014 in the cycle Hoy, compositoras, held at the Sala Berlanga in Madrid.

The program is composed of Cosmogony (1995), by Carles Guinovart (1941-2019) 16’; the absolute premiere of Nana para una personita (2020), by Diana Pérez Custodio (1970) 3’; Suites (1987), by Édith Canat de Chizy (1950) 12'; Two pieces for guitar, by Toru Takemitsu (1930-1996) 7'30''; the absolute premiere of La desolación está al fondo (2019), by Sergio Blardony (1965) 9’; Drei Märchenbilder, by Hans Werner Henze (1926-2012) 6'; Duets, by Luciano Berio (1925-2003) 6’.
