Cirque du Soleil returns to Mallorca with this production created in 1999 and with which they are now touring Europe. Dralion is the fusion of ancient Chinese circus tradition and the avant-garde and spectacular approach which is the trademark of this Canadian company.
The name derives from two symbols: the dragon, representing the East, and the lion, identified with the West. It is inspired by Eastern philosophy and the eternal quest for harmony between humans and nature.
It is divided into several acts, accompanied with live music created by Canadian composer Violaine Corradi and incomprehensible lyrics because they are in an invented language.
