This documentary incorporates animation to recreate the diaries written in the Balearic Islands by Dorothea Bate, one of the most important paleontologists of all time who arrived in Mallorca in 1909 to follow the track and discover mysterious extinct animal species in the Mediterranean, including , the mythical Myotragus balearicus.
Dorothea i el Myotragus is directed by Núria Abad and Marta Hierro and is a production of MOM Works in co-production with IB3, in collaboration with the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology - Ministry of Science and Innovation, the Consell de Mallorca and the Capdepera Town Hall.
It premieres on September 1 at CineCiutat and is broadcast on IB3 Televisió on December 5 at 10 p.m.
