Do Natural + Boc

The Palma Folk festival presents, on the Ses Voltes stage, a concert by Do Natural and Boc, two groups created in Mallorca and inspired by traditional Mediterranean music.

Do Nautural was created in Felanitx in 2007, but it was not until 2021 that they presented their debut album, A laudes. In their music, the traditional rhythms of Mallorca coexist with Balkan music, oriental influences, medieval inspirations or swing, among others.

The group is made up of Miquel Fiol (xeremies), Catalina Obrador and Apol·lònia Maria Albons (tarotas), Lluís Vaquer (guitarrón and busuqui), Ginés Valverde (double bass), Llorenç Ferrer (percussion) and Xisco Coll and Jaume Julià (flutes , flabiol and tambourine).

For his part, Boc returns live after four years away from the more alternative folk scene. The proposal, as eclectic as it is careful, that Joan Frontera created in 2009 captures a trip around the world using traditional Mallorcan instruments.
