It is one of the most represented educational concerts in Spain, surpassing the 1,500 functions so far. Led by Jose Luis Gutierrez Group, it covers some of the most important music emerged in the twentieth century through the encounter between Africa, America and Europe. Styles such as jazz, blues, bossa, samba, ragtime, boogie woogie, rock, funk, latin jazz, among others.
Each is played with the most representative instruments of these musical styles, discussing their characteristics, the masters and curiosities and anecdotes of styles. For José Luis Gutiérrez the purpose of this concert is "learn music by enjoying live music," which they achieve by combining instrumental mastery with a sense of humor.
In addition to the six scheduled concerts, the Jazz Voyeur Festival this year includes a series of film & Jazz held from 12 to 15 November at the Teatre Catalina Valls.
