The Palma City Council organizes this fair where the protagonists are the rondalles, popular stories from the island of Mallorca, of oral tradition, which were passed from mouth to mouth and from parents to children. They appeared in written form from the compilations made by Mosén Antoni Maria Alcover Sureda under the pseudonym Jordi des Racó and were published from 1880 under the title Aplech de Rondayes Mallorquines d'En Jordi d'es Recó.
The fair is held in Ses Voltes on April 6 with an extensive program of activities.
