To celebrate World Opera Day, on October 25, the Capella Mallorquina will offer an opera concert the next day with famous arias and great choral numbers.
The concert, directed by José María Moreno and with Alicia Moreno as pianist, is held in the church of Sant Felip Neri. The donation of 10 euros will go towards the construction of a well in Turkana (Kenya), within a charitable project led by the Barceló Foundation.
The Capella Mallorquina, a cultural work of the Barceló Foundation, will present a program with works by some of the greatest composers of the opera genre, such as Verdi, Puccini, Donizetti, Bizet, Gounod, Leoncavallo and Mascagni.
