European Day of Music

The City Council of Palma celebrates this tribute to music with free performances in different settings and times. From 20:00 to 22:00 h, various enclaves of the city will vibrate to the sound of classical music.

S'Hort del Rei welcomes, at 20:00 h, the performance of Mayurca Choir. From 19:30 to 21:00 h and, Can Oms will host the singing of the Youth Choir of the Choir Federation of Palma, the Choir of Esporles and the Choir of the Academy 1830.

The most popular pieces of the Banda Municipal de Música de Palma (Municipal Music Band of Palma) will sound at 19:30 pm in the Plaza Major. Later, at 21:00, Marta Aguiló, Jorge Tello and Victoria Camps interpret in the cloister of the old convent of Santa Margalida passages of opera and zarzuela. The closure of the European Day of Music will be celebrated with a concert at 22:00 am in the Bellver Castle of the Symphonic Band of the Conservatory of Music and Dance of Mallorca.
