Concert of the 2015/2016 season of the Fundació Studium Aureum. Directed by Carles Ponseti, it programs two works of Baroque composer George Frideric Handel: Dettingen Te Deum, of 1743, and Zadok the Priest, one of the four hymns created by Handel to be interpreted at the coronation of British monarchs. Concert for soloist, chorus and orchestra.
Half an hour before the concert, the composer Mercè Pons will give a talk on the life and works of this originally German composer who was naturalized English.
