'Desconcert al paradís'

The Museu Frédéric Chopin i George Sand is the setting  chosen for the premiere of Desconcert al paradís, a play for this small-format play written by Francesc Vernet about the life of the Polish composer and the French writer during their stay in the Valldemossa Charterhouse in the winter of 1838-1839.

Cecília Genovart and Joan Girart play the roles of George Sand and Frédéric Chopin, respectively, mixing reality and fiction with a touch of irony.

The work is performed on March 1, 2022, the day on which the 222nd anniversary of the composer's birth is celebrated.
