David Giorcelli (Barcelona, 1976) is currently one of the greatest examples of piano blues and boogie woogie in Spain. He has participated in many national and international festivals, including the two most important in the world of Boogie Woogie: Laroquebrou 2010 (France) and Lugano 2011 (Switzerland).
He has recorded two albums with singer Ster Wax, with whom he plays regularly at a club in Milan: Lost in a Dream, Milano Club Blues Nights (2012) and Everynight, released in April 2014 and now presented in Alcúdia Jazz.
Along with David Giorcelli (piano, vocals) the trio is completed by Reginald Vilardell (drums) and Lou Blackbass (double bass and electric bass).The concert will be accompanied by a display of dancing Lindy Hop.
