Both soloists are winners of the Gaudeamus contest in Amsterdam, Filippo Farinelli as pianist and David Brutti as the only saxophonist who has managed to be awarded this prestigious event.
They interpret a program consisting of works by Ernst-Lothar von Knorr, Marco Momi, Charles Koechlin, Stefano Trevisi and Edison Denisov.
The concert is part of 5th Mallorca Saxophone Festival, which takes place from March 22 to 27 in Palma. The proceeds will go to the restoration and maintenance of the Convent and the Caputxines Museum of Palma.
