'Dansa d'agost'

The theater company la Perla 29 brings to the stage this text by Brian Friel, one of the writers that is most adapted to theater in Ireland in recent decades. Directed by Ferran Utzet, Dansa d'agost described with tenderness and nostalgia the lives of five unmarried sisters of between thirty and forty years living together in the small town of Bally Beg, in the rural Ireland of 1936.

Memories of a month of August that saw the precarious balance of the home of the Mundy sisters collapse.
