The second proposal of the 26th Festival de Música Clàssica d'Hivern is this lied recital by the German tenor Daniel Kirch, accompanied on piano by Francesc Blanco. With works by Franz Schubert, Robert Schumann and Richard Strauss.
Several times awarded in voice competitions, Daniel Kirch's concert repertoire includes his debut as Waldemar of Schönberg's Gurre-Lieder in Berlin, under the direction of Lothar Zagrosek.
The program consists of a selection of Lieder by Franz Schubert; Dichterliebe (Love of a poet), by Robert Schumann; and 5 Lieder, Op 32, by Richard Strauss.
