Daniel Hope And Soloists

In the last edition of the Festival of Pollença, Daniel Hope offered his own version of the music of Vivaldi. This year he returns to the Claustre de Sant Domingo with Air - A Baroque Journey, one of the latest albums of the British violinist in which he presents a program of great works of Baroque music.

He is accompanied by Simos Papanas (violin), Nicola Mosca (cello), Naoki Kitaya (harpsichord), Emanuele Forni (lute) and Michael Metzler (percussion).

Daniel Hope is considered one of the great virtuosos of violin. He performs as a soloist with major orchestras and renowned directors; also with bands like Beaux Arts Trio, of which he has formed part in the past six years. He started the 2014/2015 season with the world premiere of the Violin Concerto '1914' by Gabriel Prokofiev, and has recently recorded Escape Paradise, in which he researches on European composers persecuted by the fascist regime who immigrated to Los Angeles.
