Its growing presence in the major concert halls of Europe has turned the Quartet Quiroga into one of the most respected string quartets of Spain. The youth and enthusiasm of its components contrastswith the depth and rigor of their performances.
In this concert they perform along with the excellent Finnish cellist Tomas Djupsjöbacka interpreting the Quintet in C major by Schubert, one of the peaks of chamber music of all times. The rest of the program consists of works of Beethoven.
The concert is part of Music Season CaixaForum Palma and of the complementary activities to the series of lectures Los Adioses.
