La Obra Social Sa Nostra organizes these courses open to the general public interested in learning more about the history of art and artistic heritage. They are held in the Sa Nostra Cultural Centre in Palma from October 19, 2015 to June 9, 2016.
It offers four courses taught by Professor of History Maria Jose Lapeña that follow a chronological order, from the origins of man to architecture and sculpture of the twentieth century. The lectures are supplemented by slides and audiovisual material, and concerted visits to monuments and museums of Mallorca. The topics will first be studied generally to focus later on the local area of Mallorca, where they affect the history of the island.
These courses are part of the training offer to adults in the Obra Social Sa Nostra in the 2015-2016 course. The deadline for enrollment is September 28to October 9 at the Centre de Cultura Sa Nostra.
