Romancero gitano (Gypsy Ballads), based on the popular songs of Federico García Lorca, is the chosen program for this second concert of the XXVIII festival of Bunyola melodies as well known as La Tarara, Los cuatro muleros or Anda jaleo, among many others that are part of the popular tradition.
La Coral Polifònica de Bunyola (The Polyphonic Choir of Bunyola), directed since its beginnings by Jaume Conti, gave its first concert on December 24, 1967 during the celebration of las Matines (midnight mass) in the parish church of Sant Mateu de Bunyola where this concert will also take place.
