'Conversaciones con mamá'

Juan Echanove and Maria Galiana star in this romantic comedy directed by Echanove himself, which has enjoyed great success since its premiere in 2013. The play was written by Argentine Santiago Carlos Oves for theater, although it was released first as a movie, and adaptation is done by Jordi Galceran.

Conversaciones con mamá  (Conversations with Mom) tells the story of Jaime (Juan Echanove), fifty years old, married, with two children and a mother in law to look after. All goes well until the company he works for fires him because of the crisis.

He then appeals to his mother (Maria Galiana), of 82 and living independently, and intends to sell the family home. In return, he offers her to live in his house in the service room.
