The City Council of Manacor has recovered this year the Premis Ciutat de Manacor for novels, poetry, plays and essays in Catalan which had seized to be awarded in the 80's. Not so the one for plastic arts which is about to fulfill its twentieth edition.
Therefore, the awards that will be convened are: the Maria Antonia Oliver, of novel (Prize 5,000 €); the Miquel Àngel Riera, of poetry (3,000 €); the Jaume Vidal i Alcover, of theater (3,000 €) ;Antoni Maria Alcover, for essay (3,000 €); and the one for Plastic Arts (4,000 €)
The works must be presented by 30 April at the Institució Publica Antoni M. Alcover and comply with the rules of the competition.
