'Contribució de bàrbars'

Joan Fullana directs the adaptation of this collection of poems of Majorcan writer Bartomeu Fiol (Palma, 1933-2011), friend of the writer Blai Bonet (1926-1997) and one of the most outstanding values of more recent Catalan literature. Contribució de bàrbars (Contributions barbarian), published in 1980, he uses criticism and irony to express his dissatisfaction with the world around him: the destruction of the territory, the linguistic and cultural situation of Mallorca and the role of culture and poetry. It features Xim Vidal and Joan Fullana (vocals) and Gori Matas (keyboards).

This event is held within the cycle Els vins in verse (The wines in verse), with the collaboration of the wineries and the Regulatory Council of the DO Binissalem. It consists in the presentation and tasting of a wine, which in this case is Montenegro de Ca Sa Padrina (Sencelles).
