Organized by the Association of Friends of l'Opera Teatre Principal, in collaboration with the Principal Theatre, this concert is a tribute to Jules Massenet, when it marks a century of his death. The concert repertoire includes mainly pieces of opera and oratorio.
Jules Massenet (1842-1912) is one of the great French composers, author of more than 200 songs, 25 operas and numerous musical pieces. Among his best-known operas include Manon, El Cid or La navarraise.
