The title of this concert is taken from a famous poem by Goethe Mignon. Waltraud Mücher (mezzosoprano) and Suzanne Bradbury (piano) perform works by Franz Schubert, Robert Schumann (op. 39, 'In der Fremde'), Xavier Montsalvatge (Canciones Negras), Richard Strauss and Arnold Schoenberg (Cabaret-Songs).
