Led by Pablo Gisbert and Tanya Beyeler, the Barcelona company El Conde de Torrefiel occupies a major place in the panorama of the Spanish scenic vanguard, with its montage in which they combine literature, dance and visual arts. They now present at the Teatre Principal of Palma: Escenas Para Una Conversación Después Del Visionado De Una Película De Michael Haneke (Scenes for a Conversation After Viewing a Movie by Michael Haneke), released in 2011.
In this work they look at the situation of European youth, suspended in these critical years in an indefinite space. Confusion, uprooting, indolence, discontent and frustration are the most common states in this lost generation. El Conde de Torrefiel explores to what extent their freedom has been limited.
