The organ concertist Miquel Bennacàssar opens the III Ancient Music Week organized by the Association Amics de la música of Colonia de Sant Pere. Bennàssar, schooled in Switzerland, has been organist of the historic organs of Caimari and Sa Pobla, Mallorca, and since 2006 he is the artistic director of the cycle Mornings Organ / Music and Market held every Saturday morning in the church of Sant Bartomeu in Alaro.
In this concert he performs works of the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries of Bernardo Storace, Andrea Gabrieli, Dietrich Buxtehude, JA Lefebure-Wély, J. S. Bach and an improvisation from Miquel Bennàssar parting from Epitafio by Seikilos, dated between 200 BC And 100 A.D.
